I’ve come here twice now. First time was a 4/5 experience. Pretty good cut, I liked the hot towel, the lady was nice (I forgot her name sorry!), and the atmosphere was decent. The price is better than most of anywhere else around here!
Second time was a 2/5. I was 4 mins late, so my fault there, but the guy Bennett finished my entire haircut in 10 minutes so I was done 15 mins early anyways. It was very rushed, he didn’t ask how I wanted the neck line done and just went for it, and the blend on the sides wasn’t very good.
Overall, I would recommend coming here for the value, you just have to find the right Barber.
Had my most recent cut with Tito. Scheduled a full service haircut "20-40 minutes" for 9AM. I got there at around 8:50. I didn't get sat down until after 9:05. I was sat down in Sport Clips 10 minutes away by 9:35 getting my cut fixed.
Didn't get anything but a cut. Asked to get my hair styled and got lectured and berated that my hair was to long. The amount of time Tito spent doing that, could have just done the styling. Left with a rats nest on my head. Seemed like Tito didn't want to be there. Overall the experience was incredibly uncomfortable, and with a building full of employees and customers quite humiliating as well. Probably won't be back.
The haircut was good. Liked my barber.
I do not like the suggested tip feature. Tipping is important but on a fixed income 10-15% is more reasonable. For this reason alone I may go back to the old fashioned 2 char shop even though I prefer yours.
Elsa is amazing!!! Listens to what you want and pays attention to details. I am very particular about my hair so I appreciate great communication and a great cut. Very friendly, personable conversation. Comfortable chairs and setting including a tv.
Brought my three-year-old son in for a haircut after not having it cut for several months (it was in a dreadful state). He’s usually pretty nervous for haircuts and can get upset….hence why we’d waited so long. Brandon was SO wonderful with him. Built rapport with my son easily and gave him a really nice cut. Elsa is a skilled, friendly, and attentive barber. She and the team at The Barbershop provide a great service at a very competitive price. Very happy with every haircut I've gotten from, and I'll be back again!
Elsa is so fun! I came in today a little unsure about getting a haircut but my worries disappeared as soon as Elsa warmly welcomed me to the shop and gave me a couple ideas she had for my hair. I had a great time jiving with Elsa and I came out of the shop feeling like a million bucks. Couldn’t ask for a better first experience with a barber.
